Wat te vinden op dit schilderij:
-Egyptische godin Bastet (voorgesteld als kat). Godin van de vruchtbaarheid (vrede en liefde)
-Mandala's. Symboliseert de kosmos. Hier wil ik uit het licht van de zon (onderste mandala) het leven laten komen in de vorm van de vlinders. De middelste mandala stelt de aarde voor en de halve mandala de maan (refererend aan Hatha: Ha=de zon en Tha= de maan)
-De teksten zijn uit drie verschillende bronnen: "reis van de ziel" van W. Glaudemans / teksten van de Finse filosoof Frank Martela en teksten van psychiater Carl G. Jung (die een mandala ziet als voorstelling van het onbewuste zelf)
// What to find in this painting:
-Egyptian goddess Bastet (represented as a cat). Goddess of fertility (peace and love).
-Mandalas. Symbolises the cosmos. Here I want to let life come out of the light of the sun (the lower mandala) in the form of butterflies.
-The middle mandala represents the earth and the half mandala the moon (referring to Hatha: Ha is the sun and The is the moon).
The texts are from three different sources: "Journey of the soul" by W.Glaudemans / texts by the Finnish philosopher Frank Martela and texts by psychiatrist Carl Jung, who sees a mandala as a representation of the unconscious self: the soul.

Van mei tot oktober 2021 gewerkt aan deze "Familiemuur". Een werk van met daarop vier gekleurde banen, voorstellende de vier gezinsleden. Het geheel zit vol aanwijzingen over deze personen (in verschillende talen) en ook vol teksten uit een tarotkaart-legging en symboliek.
// From May to October 2021 I worked on this 'Familtwall". There are four coloured stripes, representing the four family members. The painting is full of clues about these people (in different languages) and also full of texts from a tarot card reading and a lot of symbols.

Het schilderij bestaat uit een doolhof met 365 'deurtjes'. wanneer er in 2008 iemand bij mij op bezoek kwam, maakte die een 'deurtje' open. Daarin stond een datum. Vervolgens noteerde ik naam en adres plus geboortedatum plus datum van bezoek.
Later legde ik voor deze persoon de kaarten (Tarot) en schreef ik mijn interpretaties op een speciale kaart met de afbeelding van het schilderij. Deze kaart werd bezorgd op de dag van het 'deurtje'. Bijvoorbeeld: jij komt binnen op 25 juli. Je opent een deurtje met de datum: 2 januari. Dan krijg jij van mij op 2 januari een kaart met mijn interpretaties van de kaartlegging voor jou daarop. (Helaas is het schilderij enigszins beschadigd in de loop der tijd)
// The painting consists of a maze with 365 'doors'. When someone came to visit me in 2008, he opened a 'door'. It contained a date. Then I wrote down name and address plus date of birth plus date of visit. Later I lay the cards (Tarot) for this person and wrote my interpretations on a special card with the image of the painting. This card was delivered on the day of the 'door'.
For example: you came in on july 25 and opened a 'door' with the date: january 2. Then you will receive a card from me on january 2 with the interpretations of the card-reading for you on it. (Unfortunately the painting has been somewhat damaged over time).
